Former "America’s Next Top Model" contestant Jenn An has filed a federal lawsuit against Kanye West, accusing him of abusive behavior during a 2010 music video shoot.
The alleged incident occurred during the filming of the remix of La Roux’s “In For the Kill” at New York’s Chelsea Hotel.
According to TMZ Jenn, Kanye selected her from a lineup, reportedly saying, “Give me the Asian girl.” She claims he directed her to wear revealing lingerie and positioned the camera on her while escalating the scene into what she described as a degrading and dangerous experience.
Jenn alleges that Kanye strangled her, smothered her face, and forcibly gagged her with his fingers, all while declaring, “This is art. This is f**king art. I am like Picasso.” She describes the ordeal as more like a depiction of fetishistic acts than a professional music video shoot.
While the scene in question did not make it into any released version of the video, Jenn claims the incident was deliberately buried by industry insiders. She is suing Kanye and Universal Music Group for gender-based violence.
La Roux, whose original song was remixed by Kanye, reportedly described the shoot to a friend as “upsetting” and “unsettling.”
